Affiliate Program Terms (DRAFT)

1. Agreement to These Terms

These Affiliate Program Terms ("Affiliate Terms") govern your participation in the PulseJet Artist Partner Program ("Program") as an affiliate, creator, or partner ("Partner," "you"). They supplement, and do not replace, PulseJet's general Terms of Service, which continue to apply to your use of the PulseJet Service generally.

By joining the Program (creating a referral code, or accepting a Stripe Connect onboarding link), you agree to be bound by these Affiliate Terms.

2. Payout Rates & Tiers

Payout percentages, tier thresholds, and tier names described anywhere in the Program's marketing pages are ILLUSTRATIVE PLACEHOLDERS as of this draft. Real, final rates will be set in PulseJetLedger's tier configuration before launch and published here once locked. PulseJet reserves the right to change payout rates, tier thresholds, and tier benefits prospectively, with reasonable notice to active Partners. Rate changes do not apply retroactively to payout already accrued.

3. Attribution Window

A referral is attributed to you when someone clicks your unique referral link and completes a qualifying purchase within 30 days of that click ("Attribution Window"). Attribution is last-click: if the same visitor clicks a different Partner's link before purchasing, that later click supersedes yours. Purchases outside the Attribution Window do not generate payout.

4. Prohibited Activity

You may not, and may not permit any third party to, in connection with the Program:

  • Use bots, scripts, click farms, or other automated means to generate clicks or referrals
  • Send unsolicited bulk messages, spam, or engage in deceptive advertising to drive referrals
  • Offer cash, credits, discounts, or other incentives to induce clicks or purchases solely to generate payout ("incentivized clicks")
  • Refer yourself, your own accounts, or accounts you control ("self-referral")
  • Misrepresent your affiliation with PulseJet, or imply an endorsement or partnership PulseJet has not granted
  • Use referral links in a way that violates applicable law or third-party platform terms (e.g. undisclosed affiliate links where disclosure is legally required, such as under FTC guidelines)

5. Consequences of Abuse

If PulseJet determines, in its reasonable discretion, that you have engaged in any Prohibited Activity, PulseJet may immediately terminate your Program account and Stripe Connect access, and you FORFEIT any accrued, unpaid payout balance at the time of termination. PulseJet may also claw back payout already paid where the underlying referral is later found to have resulted from Prohibited Activity.

6. Payouts

Schedule

Accrued payout is sent monthly via Stripe Connect, directly to the bank account you connect during onboarding.

Minimum

A minimum balance of $1.00 is required to trigger a payout. Balances below the minimum roll forward to the next payout cycle.

Refunds & Chargebacks

If a referred purchase is refunded or charged back, the associated payout accrual is reversed. If the reversal would take your balance negative, it is deducted from future accruals rather than billed to you directly.

Taxes

Stripe collects tax information (e.g. W-9/W-8) directly from you as part of Connect onboarding. You are responsible for reporting and paying all taxes owed on payout you receive. PulseJet may be required to issue tax forms (e.g. 1099-NEC in the U.S.) for Partners who cross applicable reporting thresholds.

7. Term & Termination

You may leave the Program at any time; any payout already accrued and unpaid as of your departure (absent Prohibited Activity, per Section 5) will still be paid out on the normal schedule. PulseJet may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Program at any time; Partners will be given reasonable notice where practicable.

8. Relationship of the Parties

You are an independent contractor, not an employee, agent, or joint venturer of PulseJet. Nothing in these Affiliate Terms creates a partnership, employment, or agency relationship between you and PulseJet.

9. Changes to These Terms

PulseJet may update these Affiliate Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or a notice in the Partner Portal before taking effect. Continued participation in the Program after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
